Our Club

The Southern California Rat Terrier Club (SCRTC) was formed on November 7, 2015, and is proudly licensed by the American Kennel Club as a specialty club for the Rat Terrier breed.

Our mission is to encourage and promote quality breeding of purebred Rat Terriers, uphold the AKC breed standard as the measure of excellence, and support responsible ownership through education, sportsmanship, and community. We bring together breeders, exhibitors, and Rat Terrier fanciers from across Southern California — while welcoming members from anywhere.
